What makes difficult conversations difficult? Difficult conversations arise
in our daily lives. What makes them difficult is that they tend to be the most
emotional ones.
Emotions make us feel awkward and out of place. They
make us feel very uncomfortable. We are very concerned with how our words will
affect the person that we are speaking to. It is basically because we do not
know how to approach a particular topic with someone. Realizing that helps you
see the first step you need to take in order to hold a difficult

Over the years the term
has lost some of its luster by becoming synonymously linked with words such as

term, is much more than simply a characteristic of an effective team; it a
process unto itself.

people talk about you and the things you say? And are they talking for the right
reasons?
It used to be that just speaking English (at any level) was
enough to open the doors of opportunity, but times are quickly changing. Most
recent estimates place speakers of English as a fluent second language or

Beware of the Fluff. They seem like great companies, they have a good sales pitch and their comp plan looks good too. They have big corporate offices and have been around for years. Isn't that good? Like any business venture, a home business requires a considerable amount of
time and resources if you want it to really take off. If you have chosen to
start a Home Business, you have decided control your own destiny and become self
employed rather than being dependent on a paycheck and false job security. There
are not too many "safe and secure" jobs any more. That way of thinking needs to
be updated. The world has changed and globalization has altered the rules. Just
